Winger finishes 11th in Castrol FNiA stop at Brownstown

Ashton Winger entered the Gambler Transport Motorsports No. 89 Late Model into battle at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Tuesday evening for the Castrol FloRacing Night in America tour opener. With a stout field of 49 Late Models amassed, Winger stopped the clock fifth-fastest in his group before placing third in his heat. For the second round of the 13-race miniseries on Wednesday at Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Ind.), Ashton’s third-place finish in his heat race positioned him on the fifth row for the $22,022-to-win A-Main. Losing one spot in the 50-lap affair, Winger recorded an 11th-place finish.
