Ashton Winger attends Historic 100 weekend at WVMS

Drawing 31 Late Models, Winger edged his way into the $15,000-to-win preliminary with the fourth-and-final transfer spot in his heat race. Carrying a steady pace in the 30-lapper, Ashton recorded a 14th-place finish.
On Saturday, Ashton’s fourth-to-third run in his heat race positioned him on the fifth row for the $50,000-to-win E3 Spark Plugs Historic 100. Pulling off early on lap 39, Winger was credited with a 17th-place outing.
Ashton is currently seventh in the latest LOLMDS point standings.
