Winger attends USA Nationals weekend at Cedar Lake

After missing a transfer spot into the preliminary feature by one car in his heat with a fifth-place finish, Ashton crossed the line in second in his B-Main but was penalized for a violation of deck-height.
For a pair of heat races on Friday afternoon, Winger recorded a heat race win and a fifth-place finish, locking his spot into Saturday’s dash.
With an eighth-place finish lining him on the fourth row for Saturday’s $50,000-to-win USA Nationals finale, Ashton salvaged a 17th-place finish in the 100-lapper after suffering a flat tire on lap 73.
