Ashton Winger finds Senoia Raceway victory lane after rough week at Eldora Speedway

Kicking off his World 100 week on Wednesday evening, Ashton Winger was among 82 Late Models checked in at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) for the $20,000-to-win Castrol FloRacing Night in America event.

Slamming the wall in hot laps, Winger was a scratch for the remainder of the evening and turned his focused to the preliminary nights on Thursday and Friday. Finishing 15th in his first $12,000-to-win prelim, Ashton dealt with more mechanical issues on Friday and did not start his shootout race.

Being buried in a heat race on Saturday, Ashton decided to head home early and catch a weekly event at his home track of Senoia (Ga.) Raceway. Qualifying third-quickest out of 19 entries, Winger made a late pass for the lead and outran Michael Page to the checkered flag.
