Lance Schill scores first win of 2021 in Wild West Shootout

Lance was back in action for the final three nights of the Wild West Shootout in Arizona and was finally able to check one off the bucket list as he was able to race his #17 into WWS victory lane for the first time ever on Friday night. After racing from 10th to 3rd in his heat race, he started the feature inside of the second row and was able to work his way forward and pick up the coveted victory.

Saturday night, he finished 6th in his heat after starting 8th. He then raced from 4th to 2nd in the b, earning the 19th starting spot in the feature. From the 10th row, he blasted his way toward the front, crossing the finish line with an impressive third place finish.

Sunday, he raced from 5th to 2nd in his heat race, before starting 4th in the feature and racing for the lead early, only to be involved in a crash which ended his bid for his second win of the week and credited him with a 19th-place finish.
