Dustin Nobbe
First North South 100 start
Nobbe Racing competed to the North South 100 with the Lucas Oil Late Model Series at Florence Speedway. With 61 cars on hand Dustin would qualify 10th in his group starting him 5th in heat 8 on Thursday. Nobbe would cross the line in 5th starting him 20th in the main event. After missing the set-up Dustin would slip back to 22nd at the line.
Friday was a completely new show. Nobbe would once again qualify 10th in his group starting him 5th in heat 4. Missing the transfer position by 1 spot Dustin would start 4th in the B main. At the end Dustin would miss the main event by one spot.
Both Thursday and Friday’s performances set up the starting line ups for Saturday. Nobbe would line up 8th in heat 3, after fading early Dustin would end up 7th at the line. After starting 12th in the B main Dustin would fall one position. Nobbe would use his Florence Speedway points provisional to take the 29th starting position for his 1st North South 100. Dustin would battel his way to 9th before an unlucky restart would result in a 16th final position.
