Sachau, Murty and Purdy Dirt Duel Champions

120 race cars checked in at Stuart Speedway for the Dynamic Drivelines Dirt Duel finale presented by Sniper Speed, Karl Chevrolet of Stuart and Midstate Machine! Feature winners for the night were Ben Kraus, Jake Sachau, Dallon Murty, Jeremy Purdy and Chase Rudolf.
First up was the Outlaw Mini Mods with Bobby Daniels and Bobby Ruehlow on the front row. Ben Kraus shot into the lead and never let it go as he cruised to the win. Daniels finished second with Nathan Kilwine third, Jerry Larson fourth and Kamdyn Haggard fifth.
IMCA Northern SportMods were the first Dirt Duel feature on the track with Brayton Carter and Dylan VanWyk leading the field to green. VanWyk led early until Carter slid by to take the lead a third of the way through the 35 lap event. Carter held it through a few yellows and that would allow Jake Sachau to use a restart to take the lead on lap 25. Carter gave it his all but Sachau was too strong as he went on to the $2500 win. Carter finished second with Izac Mallicoat third, Cam Reimers fourth and VanWyk fifth.
Chanse Hollatz and Abe Huls led the IMCA Stock Cars to the green flag for their 40 lap feature next with Hollatz leading the first eleven laps. Dallon Murty used the bottom of the track to take over on lap twelve and that was the end of lead changes as the 99X checked out on the field to take the $2500 win. Hollatz finished second with Buck Schafroth third, Damon Murty fourth and Derek Green fifth.
IMCA Hobby Stocks came out next with Jeremy Purdy and Brandon Cox on the front row for the $1500 to win 30 lap feature. Purdy took charge early with Cox and Tanner Dixon close behind. Purdy led through a rash of cautions to take home the hardware and the feature win. Tanner Dixon finished second with Jason Kohl third, Eric Stanton fourth and Braden Richards fifth.
Chase Rudolf and Martin Bennett brought the IMCA Modifieds out for the last race of the night and it was Rudolf leading early. Todd Shute made it to second and gave it his all but it was Rudolf taking the comfortable win. Shute finished second with Bennett third, Josh Gilman fourth and Cayden Carter fifth.
We’d like to thank all who came out to support the race track at our seventh event of the year. Next Wednesday weekly racing returns to the speedway on First Responders/Veterans/Kids Night presented by Karl Chevrolet Stuart, Rolling Hills Bank & Trust and Casey's General Stores. See you then!
