Bryan injured in wreck at Williams Grove Speedway

Thursday night saw Bryan Bernheisel return with the Zimmer’s United Late Model Southern Series at Williams Grove Speedway (Mechanicsburg, Pa.) for the event rescheduled from a week prior. In a field of 22 cars, Bernheisel topped the speed charts in time trials but flipped completely over the wall in his heat race that left him severely injured. He was taken to Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center in Camp Hill, Pa., where they found fractures in his neck and back. He underwent surgery on Sunday to stabilize his neck and upper back injuries.
