Brown Captures 2nd Career Win at Boone County Raceway
16 Malvern Bank 360 Sprint Cars checked in to Boone County Raceway, for the Boone County Challenge Friday Night.
Chase Porter of St. Joseph’s Missouri was the Deatherage Opticians Quick Time in Hotlaps. Heat Race Wins went to Chase Porter and Stu Snyder of Lincoln, NE. Series Points leader Chase Brown of Yutan, NE would win the Dash and start on the pole of the 25 lap feature event. Stu Snyder would start 6th and run the Lucky 6 Challenge paying $3,200 courtesy of Electrical Systems Inc.
Chase Brown would jump to the lead on the opening lap and run away from the field while Rookie of the Year Contender Dominic White of Plainview, NE and Chase Porter would settle into 2nd and 3rd. A caution would come from another Rookie Evan Semerad who spun in turn 3 just as Brown was beginning to work through lap traffic. On the next restart Brown would again pull away but the action would pick up for 3rd as Chase Porter, Joey Danley of Lincoln, NE, and Sam Henderson of Sioux Falls, SD would battle it out with a number of slide jobs and crossovers. With 11 laps left Henderson would be in 3rd, Danley 4th, and Porter 5th when Danley would catch the tail tank of Henderson. The 2 would square off for an epic 4 lap dual that Danley would get the better of. Up front Brown would work the cushion and lap traffic masterfully to grab his 1st win of 2025. White would finish 2nd, Danley 3rd, Henderson 4th, Porter 5th.
The win gives Brown firm control of the points lead as the series is set to invade Knoxville Raceway Saturday, July 19 for its next event.
