14-year-old Northbridge racer offered huge opportunity

NORTHBRIDGE, MASSACHUSETTS. Daniel Stolte will take the next step in his racing career this season when he tests a super late model race car for Hartwell Motorsports. He will be racing a partial season in the Granite State Pro Stock Series throughout the New England area. His first test will be at Thompson Speedway this Spring.

"This is a huge step for me," said Stolte. "We're focused on racing our Legend car, but the chance to test a super late model is something I didn't expect."

Hartwell Motorsports recently contacted Stolte with the offer, and after a brief discussion with his family the likeable youngster leapt at the opportunity.

"I want to progress through the ranks of racing," said Stolte. "The chance to drive a high-powered race car is exactly what I need to get to the next level."

Stolte will be racing a Howe chassis which is what he is learning on at RACE 101, the racing school he is attending in North Carolina. He will also be racing a Legend Car full time at Waterford Speedbowl in addition to the Super Late Model.
