Brennon Willard Attends Hawkeye 100 at Boone

Friday night found Brennon Willard in action at Boone Speedway (Boone, Iowa) for the Hawkeye 100 weekend. With 24 World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series entries on hand for a pair of preliminary features, Willard time in 24th fastest in qualifying, which positioned him 24th on the starting grid for the $3,000-to-win prelim. Starting the second preliminary feature in 23rd, Brennon held his spot for the entire distance to finish 23rd.

On Saturday with qualifying times and heat results aligning the field for the $30,000-to-win Hawkeye 100, Willard came in eighth in his heat, which positioned him 23rd on the starting grid for the finale. Passing five cars in the 100-lap affair, Brennon Willard posted an 18th-place finish.
