JONESTOWN, Pa. (March 7, 2022) - Although forced to wait an extra week to hop back in the seat, losing a pair of starts at Magnolia Motor Speedway and The Rev as the result of poor weather, the “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss returned to action hungry and ultimately performed well, scoring back-to-back top-ten finishes during the Texas Two-Step at Cotton Bowl Speedway in Paige, Texas, on Friday and Saturday, March 4-5. The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series sophomore highlighted his weekend in the Lone Star State with a sixth-place performance in the Two-Step finale, jumping ahead two spots after starting on the outside of row four.

Adding to his Texas stat sheet, the Jonestown, Pennsylvania, native kicked-off Saturday's program by recording the fifth-fastest time during qualifying time trials, finishing third during his respective heat race shortly thereafter.

“That was a great weekend, and a perfect way to get our trip west started. Having confidence and positive momentum are great attributes and we have both of them leading into the California swing,” Brock Zearfoss explained, driver of the Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, Berkebile Oil Company, X-1 Race Cars, No. 3Z sprint car. “Hats off to my team and all of my partners. I think we are all ready to see what we can do on the West Coast.”

Zearfoss, a former World of Outlaws winner at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, launched his weekend at Cotton Bowl Speedway with a tenth-place run on Friday. A fourth-place finish during his respective heat race secured his appearance in the 30-lap A-Main.
With all results considered, Zearfoss is now ninth in the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series driver championship, trailing the top spot, held by David Gravel, by 80 markers.

Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing will continue their 2022 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series campaign with a two-day visit to Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare, California, on Friday and Saturday, March 11-12.
