ASCS Elite North Non-Wing Headlining El Paso and Phillips County Raceway

(May 25, 2022) Two nights are on tap this Memorial Day Weekend for the ASCS Elite Non-Wing North Series will take on El Paso County Raceway in Calhan, Colo. on Saturday, May 28 then Phillips County Raceway in Holyoke, Colo. for the first time in 2022 on Sunday, May 29.

The third and fourth rounds of competition this season, Coby Pearce has been undefeated in the region’s first two outings at El Paso County Raceway.

Saturday, May 28, opens at 1:00 P.M. with racing at 5:00 P.M. (MDT). Along with the ASCS Elite North Non-Wing Series, IMCA Modifieds, Sport Mods, Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks, Sport Compacts, Dwarf Cars, and Mini Mods will be in action.

Admission is $20 for adults, $15 for Military and Seniors, $10 for youth 4-12, and free for kids three and under. For more information on El Paso County Raceway, call (720) 404-0400 or log onto https://www.bstpromotions.com. El Paso County Raceway is located at 366 10th St. in Calhan, Colo.

The season’s first trip to Phillips County Raceway, the tour’s last stop at the three-eighths-mile oval on June 18, 2021 went the way of Coby Pearce. Looking to this Sunday’s affair opens at 1:00 P.M. with racing at 5:00 P.M. (MDT). Other classes on the card include IMCA Hobby Stocks, Modifieds, Sport Compacts, Dwarf Cars, Sport Mods, Stocks Cars, and Mini Mods.

The 2022 season will mark the 31st year of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network, the ASCS Nation includes 11 Regional Tours encompassing both wing and non-wing competition.
