The victory marked his sixth of the year and rewarded Satterlee with a $4,900 payday. The Pennsylvania racer took the lead early and went on to lead 25 of the event’s 35 laps.

“I knew we had a good car. I got a really good start," Satterlee said. "Dillan (Stake) had a little bit better jump than me. I was on the outside there and it didn’t have much traction there. I knew I had to fall in line and make some laps, see where my car was the best. Once I knew what I needed to do, I was able to slide in front of him here down in one and make some good laps. The car was really good.”

Gregg Satterlee kicked off his Independence Day weekend on Friday evening with a visit to Bedford Speedway (Bedford, Pa.) to pilot his Satterlee Motorsports No. 22 Late Model in the 2022 edition of the Milt Miller Tribute.

After starting the night with a heat race triumph, Satterlee stole the lead from Dillan Stake early in the feature and went on to claim his sixth win of the season and a $4,900 payday.

On Saturday, Gregg invaded Muskingum County Speedway (Zanesville, Ohio) for a round of preliminary features leading up to Sunday’s Freedom 60. With the 10th-fastest lap overall placing him on the second row for his $3,000-to-win prelim, Satterlee dropped two spots to finish sixth.

With his finish in Saturday night's prelim pinning him on the eighth row for Sunday’s $30,000-to-win Freedom 60, Satterlee advanced forward six spots in the 60-lapper to register a 10th-place finish.
