Robinson follows LOLMDS to Davenport and Deer Creek

With the fourth-and-final transfer spot in his heat pinning him on the eighth row for the feature, Robinson faded two positions in the 50-lapper to finish 18th.
The following night, Robinson headed to Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minn.) as the NAPA Auto Parts Gopher 50 came to life with a pair of preliminary features. Relying on a provisional into Saturday’s $50,000-to-win finale after failing to qualify for prelims, Robinson was an early retiree from the 75-lap affair on the 16th circuit. He was credited with a 27th-place finish.
