The Wheat Shocker Nationals Next For United Rebel Sprint Series

Bryan Hulbert – HAYS, Kan. (July 13, 2022) Rolling into a two-night showdown at Rolling Plains Motor Speedway (RPM Speedway) in Hays, Kan., the Drive to Zero United Rebel Sprint Series presented by Mel Hambelton Ford headlines the Wheat Shocker Nationals on Saturday, July 16 and Sunday, July 17 during the Ellis County Fair.

A glance back to 2021, the weekend was split by Ty Williams and Jason Martin. Rounds 10 and 11 on the season, the points continue to be led by Steven Richardson. Trailing by 16, Jeremy Huish holds second, with Luke Cranston fresh off a win at Belleville, holding third. Ty Williams and Jon Freeman complete the top five going into the weekend.

Both nights at RPM Speedway open at 4:00 P.M. for teams to begin pulling in. Grandstands open at 5:00 P.M. with racing at 7:00 P.M. (CDT). Grandstand tickets are $10, Senior (65+) are $5, Kids 12 and under, and Military (active or retired) with ID are free. Pit Passes are $30 for anyone 14 or older. Youth (6-13) are $10, and Kids under five are free.

The Drive to Zero United Rebel Sprint Series presented by Mel Hambelton Ford will be joined by IMCA Sport Compacts, Hobby Stocks, and Northern Sports Mods on Saturday. The classes swap to IMCA Stock Cars and Modifieds on Sunday.
