THOMPSON RETURNS TO VICTORY LANE
Stan Thompson and Paul Schuh led the field to the green flag in the IMCA Sport Compacts feature. They raced side by side for the lead which allowed third place, Alex Thompson, to reel in the leaders. Alex Thompson took it three wide for the lead and motored by Stan Thompson and Schuh. Alex Thompson pulled away as points leader, Ken Sandberg, passed Stan Thompson for third. Sandberg continued his march to the front by quickly passing Schuh for second. Sandberg tried to reel in Alex Thompson but ran out of time. Alex Thompson crossed the finish line first for the second time this season. Ken Sandberg finished second ahead of Paul Schuh. Minot’s Aiden Wagner finished fourth while Stan Thompson rounded out the top five.
