With a fifth-place finish in his heat race aligning him on the fourth row for the opening night feature, Tad was an early retiree from the 30-lap affair on the 11th circuit.
On Thursday afternoon as a stout field of 60 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) competitors invaded the Nebraska oval for the Dirt Track Bank Go 50, Pospisil followed up a fourth-place finish in his heat with a consolation victory. With $12,000 on the line in the feature, Tad was credited with a 25th-place outing after pulling off with 12 laps remaining.
For a pair of heat races on Friday to kick off the Imperial Tile Silver Dollar Nationals, Tad recorded a 12th and fourth-place finish, relegating him into the B-Main for another shot at the $53,000-to-win A-Main.
With Mother Nature postponing Saturday’s consolation races to Sunday, Pospisil logged a ninth-place outing. He earned a spot into the SS Showdown non-qualifier feature but was an early exit.
