Runner-Up Performance at Oakshade for Shipley

Colin Shipley entered a single event over the weekend with a Saturday trip to Oakshade Raceway (Wauseon, Ohio), where he hit the ground running by qualifying fastest in his group to earn the pole for the third heat race.

Shipley wired the field in his heat race to earn a spot in the redraw, where he was the recipient of the fourth-starting position for the finale.

Slipping back a few spots early in the main event, Shipley rebounded to finish second behind Rusty Schlenk with Steve Kester, Mathew Chapman, and Dusty Moore completing the Top-5 finisher.
