Thompson Third in Night of 10,000 Stars

Cody Thompson invaded Hancock County Speedway (Britt, Iowa) on Tuesday night for the rescheduled Night of 10,000 Stars.

The $5,000-to-win IMCA Modified event drew a field of 24 competitors to the Iowa oval. Cody 's night began with an impressive fourth-to-first charge in his heat race, which positioned him second on the starting grid for the 50-lap feature.

Racing in a podium spot throughout the main event, Thompson ultimately crossed the finish line in third behind Tom Berry Jr. and Richie Gustin with Brandon Beckendorf and Drew Janssen completing the Top-5 finishers.
