Rain Forecast Halts Heroes Night in America at Boyd’s Speedway Scheduled for August 19th

RINGGOLD, GA (August 18, 2022)—Officials with Boyd’s Speedway located in Ringgold, Ga. have made the decision that Friday nights event planned for August 19 has been canceled due to a forecast of rain Friday. The event dubbed Heroes Night in American was scheduled to feature the Valvoline Iron-Man Late Models and Crate Racin’ USA Dirt Late Models both racing for $3,000-to-win. No immediate makeup date has been announced.

The next event for Boyd’s Speedway will be the Labor Day Showdown featuring the Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Southern Series on Saturday Night September 3 paying $5,000-to-win and $450-to-start. A fireworks show will light up the evening sky. Other divisions will be announced next week.
