Sixth-place finish with World of Outlaws at Port Royal

Thursday night saw Matt Cosner return to action with a visit Bloomsburg Fair Raceway (Bloomsburg, Pa.) to compete with the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series.

In a field of 32 Late Models, Cosner jumped up one spot in his heat race to finish sixth, sending him into the B-Main. Needing a third-place finish or better to make the opening night feature, Matt came one spot short with a fourth-place finish.

For the Connor Bobik Memorial on Friday at Marion Center Raceway (Marion Center, Pa.), Matt’s seventh-place finish in his heat race relegated him into the B-Main. Sending the top-three into the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Cosner logged a 12th-place outing.

On Saturday evening at Port Royal Speedway (Port Royal, Pa.), Cosner followed up the sixth-fastest time in his group with a third-place finish in his heat. Coming one spot shy of a Top-5 finish in the feature, Matt passed six cars in the 40-lapper to register a sixth-place finish.
