ASCS Creek County Fall Fling To Pay Tribute To Fuzzy Hahn

Bryan Hulbert – SAPULPA, Okla. (September 6, 2022) Creek County Speedway, the Fall Fling, the American Sprint Car Series. All three have someone in common, and that is Emmett and Fuzzy Hahn, so it is only fitting that the track, event, and series that Fuzzy helped create, in turn, honors her memory.

Happening Halloween weekend, Fuzzy’s Fall Fling will be the site of the 2022 season finale for the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network. The event is presented by Terry Mattox Promotions.

“I wanted to honor Fuzzy, and after talking with some of the Hahn family, it was only right that we make the Fall Fling in her honor,” explained Terry Mattox, who is in his first year of ownership of the American Sprint Car Series.

“I could sit all day and not be able to put into words what Fuzzy did for me. The times she was there, not as my boss, but as my friend and mentor.”

Fuzzy’s Fall Fling takes place on Friday, October 28, and Saturday, October 29, at Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Okla.

The weekend features the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network, in conjunction with the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Sooner Region presented by Smiley’s Racing Products, along with the Non-Wing United Sprint League and Factory Stocks both nights.

Friday opens at 6:00 P.M. with racing at 8:00 P.M. Tickets are $20, and kids 12 and under get in free. Saturday moves up with the green flag dropping at 7:30 P.M. (CT). Tickets are $25, and kids 12 and under still get in free.

Creek County Speedway is located at 18450 West Hwy. 66 between Sapulpa and Kellyville.
