Freeman finishes 11th with World of Outlaws at Smoky Mountain

With 32 World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series entries on the grounds, Freeman edged his way into the $10,000-to-win A-Main with a fifth-place finish in his heat. Moving forward three spots in the 40-lap affair, Payton raced to an 11th-place finish.

Saturday's Charlie Mize Memorial at Lavonia Speedway (Lavonia, Ga.) fell victim to Mother Nature.
