Runner-up finish with Lucas Oil MLRA at Lakeside
Andrew Kosiski kicked off his Labor Day weekend on Friday afternoon with a visit to Lakeside Speedway (Kansas City, Kan.) for the Clyde Ellis Memorial. (Todd Boyd photos)
In a field of 21 Lucas Oil LateModel Midwest Racing Association (MLRA) entries, Andrew laid down the fifth-fastest time overall in time trials before picking up a heat race win. Starting on the pole for the $5,000-to-win A-Main, Kosiski dropped one spot in the 30-lap affair to register a runner-up finish. He followed Chase Junghans across the line with Aaron Marrant, Payton Looney, and Spencer Diercks rounding out the Top-5.
For the final All Star Sunday at I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Neb.), Kosiski followed up a seventh-place outing in his heat with a 19th-to-10th showing in the 20-lap feature.
