Cody started his outing with an impressive ninth-to-first run in his heat race, which locked him into the pole position for the night's 25-lap feature. He slipped back a few spots in the opening laps before surging back to the lead on lap 11. Once out front he never looked back on his way to the win, which came over Todd Stinehart, Cory Sauerman, Jacob Hobscheidt, and Ricky Alvarado.

On Thursday Cody competed in a trio of superlative events for the IMCA Modified division. He finished second in All Star Last Chance Qualifier #3 before finishing third in All Star North Central No. 2.

He added a fifth place finish in his Modified Race of Champions heat race.

On Friday night, Cody contested a single event as he took part in the Fast Shafts All Star Invitational. From the pole position, Cody led all but one lap to bank the victory, which came over Joel Rust, Zane DeVilbiss, Jeff Aikey, and Jake McBirnie.

Saturday evening found the coveted Modified Dance finale taking center stage. Starting fourth on the grid Cody raced in the Top 10 throughout the finale before crossing the finish line in third behind Tom Berry Jr. and Kollin Hibdon with Aaron Turnbull and Jeff Aikey completing the Top 5.
