Mitchell visits Magnolia Motor Speedway for Cotton Pickin' 100 weekend

Drawing 37 Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) entries, Mitchell followed up a seventh-place finish in his heat with a fifth-to-third run in his B-Main. Pulling off on the seventh circuit of the 30-lap feature, Jon was credited with a 22nd-place outing.
For Friday’s $4,000-to-win program, Jon missed a transfer spot in his heat race and B-Main, ending his night early.
On Saturday, Mitchell timed in 14th-fastest in his group before placing sixth in his heat, relegating him into a consolation event for one last shot at the $12,000-to-win Cotton Pickin’ 100. Needing to place fourth or better, Jon fell one spot short with a fifth-place finish.
