Runner-up finish in Ty Veuleman Memorial at Sabine

With a pair of qualifying features on Friday kicking off the two-day event, Dillard followed up a second-place run in his heat race with a third-place finish in his prelim.

Starting Saturday night’s $5,069-to-win Ty Veuleman Memorial in fifth, Cade inched forward three spots in the 40-lap affair to register a second-place finish. He trailed Jimmy Owens to the checkers with Shane Hebert rounding out the podium.
