Bernheisel Racing attends Keystone Cup at Bedford Speedway

Bryan and Jim Bernheisel returned to Bedford Speedway (Bedford, Pa.) on Friday evening to compete in a field of 38 Late Models for the fifth annual Keystone Cup.

With a pair of preliminary features leading up to Saturday’s main event, Bryan timed in 12th-fastest in his group before placing in his 20-lap prelim, locking him into the finale. Jim took part in time trials but was an early exit in his feature, ending his weekend early.

Locked into the 17th-starting position for the $22,000-to-win Keystone Cup on Saturday, Bryan was an early retiree from the 60-lapper to save equipment after the track saw limited passing.
