Runner-up finish in The Leftover at 411
Mack McCarter visited 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.) on Saturday for the 7th annual Leftover and was one of 32 Valvoline Iron-Man Southern Series Late Models on site.
McCarter went third-quickest in his qualifying group, which positioned him to start the $5,000-to-win feature from the third row. Mack drove the McCarter Brothers Racing MasterSbilt No. 83 to finish second behind race-long leader Cory Hedgecock. Jed Emert, Booger Brooks, and Michael Chilton completed the Top-5.
