Dirt2Media NOW 600 Series Season Opener Coming Up At Ark-La-Tex Speedway

(February 9, 2023) With racing around North America starting to break from winter hibernation, the same will soon be true for the Dirt2Media National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Hi-Plains Building Division, with the lid set to be lifted at Ark-La-Tex Speedway in Vivian, La. on Friday, February 24, and Saturday, February 25.

The 11th season of competition for the Dirt2Media National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Hi-Plains Building Division, the 2022 season wrapped up with Frank Flud taking both stock division titles while Jett Nunley dominated Restricted competition.

Featuring the three core classes of NOW600 National Tour competition, the Stock Non-Wing, A-Class, and Restricted action will be joined by Mod Lites of Arkansas at the Caddo Parish Shakedown.

Friday, February 24, the Pit Gate opens at 4:00 P.M. with Grandstands opening at 6:00 P.M. Cars will be on track for Hot Laps at 7:15 P.M. with racing to follow. Saturday moves all times up to 3:00 P.M. on the Pits, 5:00 P.M. on the Grandstands, and 6:15 P.M. (CT) for Hot Laps. Again, racing to follow.

Tickets per night are $10 for adults, $5 for youth (6-12), and free for kids five and under. Pits are $35 per night.

The 2023 season marks the 11th year of competition for the National Open Wheel 600 Series. Anchored by the Dirt2Media NOW600 National Championship, the NOW600 Series comprises several regional tours and sanctioned racetracks. The NOW600 National Championship features three divisions of 600cc micro sprints at each event: Stock Non-Wing, Winged A-Class and Restricted 'A' Class.
