HTF Takes Four Drivers into Clash on the Coast; Joseph Wins
Hunt the Front invaded Northwest Florida Speedway (Baker, Fla.) on Monday evening for the opening round of the Clash on the Coast.
The team brought four drivers into action with Joseph Joiner, Jesse Enterkin, Jonathan Joiner, and Jordan Miller all in action.
With 59 IMCA Modified racers in attendance, Joseph led the charge aboard the Andrews Motorsports No. 01 entry. He won his heat race before drawing the third-starting spot for the feature. He battled in a podium spot before crossing the finish line in third.
Meanwhile, Jesse brought a Thirlby Motorsports Modified into battle. He raced from fifth-to-second in his heat race to lock into the feature, where he received the 11th-starting spot in the redraw. He climbed to as high as sixth in the 25-lap feature before ultimately finishing 13th.
Jonathan charged from eighth-to-fifth in his heat race, which left him short of locking into the feature. He used the topside of the track to charge to a B-Main win to lock into the feature. Joiner climbed to a 15th-place finish in the feature.
Jordan's night didn't go as well. He made contact with the wall in his heat race while running fifth, which pushed him back in the finishing order. After starting deep in a B-Main, he was collected in a wreck, ending his night and his week early.
On Tuesday night, Joseph broke through with a convincing win. He won his heat race from last before leading every lap of the feature to claim his first-ever Modified victory.
Jesse won his heat race from the pole position. Receiving the third-starting spot in the redraw, Enterkin ran second for the first half of the 25-lap feature before registering a fourth-place finish.
After finishing third in his heat race, Jonathan started-and-finished 16th in the main event.
