Roland follows Spring Nationals to Swainsboro and Senoia
Will Roland followed the Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals to Swainsboro Raceway (Swainsboro, Ga.) and Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Ga.) for a pair of $10,053-to-win shows on the series opening weekend.
With a strong 32 car field at Swainsboro on Friday, Roland finished runner-up in his heat before facing mechanical issues in the feature which relegated him to a 13th-place finish.
Saturday saw Roland qualify 12th-quickest in his group at Senoia, which pinned him towards the back of his heat race. After assessing the rough track conditions, Will made the tough call to save his equipment and not compete in the rest of the night's events.
