Martin runner-up in Turkey Bowl at Springfield

Logan Martin returned to his home state of Missouri to compete in the 16th annual Turkey Bowl at Springfield Raceway (Springfield, Mo.).

With 27 cars in the pit area, Logan started off the night with a heat race victory which lined him up to start on the outside pole for the 40-lap feature. With $10,000 on the line, Martin took the lead from the start but was overtaken by eventual race-winner Bobby Peirce with just eight laps to go.
