Drake Troutman

Drake Troutman visits victory lane at County Line Raceway

Drake Troutman once again found himself in Victory Lane with the Three Sixteen Motorsports No. 19 Pro Legend Car over the weekend. His latest triumph came at North Carolina’s County Line Raceway on Saturday night.

In addition to his fourth win of the year, he added a runner-up finish in the Jerry Foster Racing No. 5 Modified.

“We had a great outing at County Line (Raceway). I got another win in the Three Sixteen Motorsports Pro Legend Car, and then we showed a lot of speed in the Modified. Just have to get a little better, but I’m still proud with a second-place finish. Also got to turn a couple of laps in the new Longhorn Chassis Super Late Model, and we are very happy and have some high hopes with the car,” Troutman said. “We’re taking this week off, and then next week we’ll enter a couple of ULMS Late Mode events here in Pennsylvania with the new car.”

Competing in two divisions, Drake Troutman invaded County Line Raceway (Elm City, N.C.) on Saturday evening to pilot the Jerry Foster Racing No. 5 Modified and the Three Sixteen Motorsports No. 19 Pro Legend Car.

With a fifth-to-second run in his Legend car placing him on the second row for the feature, Troutman grabbed the lead on the fifth lap with a third-to-first move and controlled the remainder of the 20-lapper to register his fourth win of the season.

For the opening leg of the Modified Mafia Tour presented by VP Racing Fuels, Troutman followed up the second-fastest qualifying effort with a second-place finish in the Fast 6 Dash. Chasing race-long pacesetter Ethan Dotson to the checkers in the feature, Drake posted a second-place finish.

Next up for the team is a Zimmer’s United Late Model Series (ULMS) doubleheader at Williams Grove Speedway (Mechanicsburg, Md.) and Port Royal (Pa.) Speedway on March 24-25.
