Putnam Enters Inaugural HTF Super Dirt Series Event

Josh Putnam entered the inaugural Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series event on Friday night at All-Tech Raceway (Ellisville, Fla.).

Forty Super Late Models took to the sprawling 1/2-mile oval for the $20,000-to-win affair. Josh only managed the 13th-fastest lap in his group in qualifying, and a seventh-place finish in his heat race relegated him to a B-Main.

Charging from seventh-to-fourth in the B-main earned Putnam the 24th-starting spot for the night's 50-lap finale. He enjoyed a strong run in the feature, passing 10 cars to finish 14th.
