Pair of podiums in Malvern Bank Series opener at Harlan
Friday night found Tad Pospisil in action at Shelby County Speedway (Harlan, Iowa) aboard his Dietz Well & Pumps No. 04 Late Model for the Malvern Bank Series season opener.
With a unique format setting the grid for a pair of semi features on Friday, Tad secured his spot into his prelim with the second-fastest lap in his time trial group. Battling for a $1,000 payday, Pospisil gained four positions to finish second.
Earning the second-starting position for Saturday’s $4,000-to-win finale, Pospisil lost one spot in the 30-lap affair to register a third-place finish. He chased Jesse Sobbing and Dylan Sillman to the checkers.
