11th in Malvern Bank Series lidlifter at Shelby County
The 2023 season kicked off for Andrew Kosiski on Friday afternoon as he entered his Certified Transmission No. 53 Late Model into battle with the Malvern Bank Series at Shelby County Speedway (Harlan, Iowa) for the two-day event.
With the 29-car field split amongst two groups for a pair of $1,000-to-win semi features, Andrew’s time trial effort placed him on the pole for his prelim. Losing two positions in the 20-lap affair, Kosiski raced to a third-place finish. He chased Justin Zeitner and Bill Leighton Jr. to the checkers.
On Saturday, Kosiski secured his spot into the $4,000-to-win finale with a consolation victory. Starting the 30-lap feature in 11th, Andrew carried a steady pace to finish 11th.
