Ryan Timms competes with World of Outlaws at Tri-City
Back in action on Friday, Ryan Timms invaded Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Ill.) as the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series returned to the 3/8-mile oval for the first time in 15 years.
In a stout field of 42 Sprinters, Timms lost a spot in his heat to finish sixth but went onto secure his spot into the feature with a runner-up showing in his B-Main. With $10,000 on the line, Ryan was forced pitside on lap 22 with a packed right-rear tire full of mud after losing a wheel cover.

Saturday’s schedule event at Knoxville Raceway (Knoxville, Iowa) fell victim to Mother Nature.
