Martin lands on the podium in Bad Boy 98 at Batesville
Making the haul from Missouri, Logan Martin entered his Adams Construction No. 36 Late Model into World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series competition at Mississippi Thunder Speedway (Fountain City, Wis.) for the Dairyland Showdown tripleheader weekend.
Drawing 43 cars to kick off preliminary action, Martin wasn't able to get a qualifying lap to his liking which put him on the ninth-row in the first 25-lap feature. Overcoming a tough starting position, Logan moved forward 10 spots to land inside the Top-10 with an eighth-place finish.
With the rest of the weekend at Mississippi Thunder washed out, Logan Martin traveled South to Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Ark.) on Saturday afternoon for the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series-sanctioned Bad Boy 98.
Out of 31 Late Models, Logan followed up the second-fastest lap in his group with a victory in his heat race. In the $12,000-to-win main event, Martin battled with Billy Moyer Jr. and Kyle Beard for the top spot but ultimately settled for third when the checkers flew.
