Timms visits Atomic and debuts at Eldora Speedway

Ryan Timms made a midweek start at Atomic Speedway (Chillicothe, Ohio) on Thursday evening aboard his CitGard Engine Oils No. 5T Sprinter.

With 42 All Star Circuit of Champions entries on the grounds for The Night The Stars Come Out, Timms edged his way into the A-Main with the fourth-and-final transfer spot in his heat. Starting the feature in 20th, Ryan worked his way up to 13th but slowed on lap 26 to bring out a caution. He was scored 20th in the final rundown.

The following night, Timms traveled to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) to compete in a doubleheader weekend with the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series. In his first start at the prestigious half-mile oval, Ryan timed in 20th in his group before placing 10th in his heat. Transferring into the C Feature, Timms night was over after finishing seventh.

For Saturday’s finale, Ryan came in eighth in his heat race, relegating him into a consolation race for one final shot at the $10,000-to-win #LetsRaceTwo finale. Taking the top-four, Timms moved forward three spots to finish ninth, ending his weekend early.
