Jesse Glenz parks Late Model in victory lane at Grand Rapids

Jesse took his new SSR Late Model to the traditional Labor Day weekend swing, which kicked off on Thursday night at the Halvor Lines Speedway in Proctor, MN during the track’s 50th annual Silver 1000. The track was tough to pass on in the heat races, so after a 7th place run in the heat, Jesse rallied from 7th up to 2nd in the b-main and then after starting 22nd in the main, he was making his way through the field until he spun and retired for the night.

Friday, at the Grand Rapids Speedway in Grand Rapids, MN, Jesse raced from 4th up to 2nd in his heat race and then started on the outside of the front row in the feature and ran off with his first feature win in his new car.

Saturday and Sunday, the team made their way to the Hibbing Raceway in Hibbing, MN for the Labor Day Shootout and after struggling and not making the show on Saturday night, he rebounded nicely and raced from 14th up to 9th in the Sunday feature to cap off the weekend.
