Earl Pearson Jr. attends Historic 100 at West Virginia Motor Speedway
Earl Pearson Jr. and the Papich Racing team trekked to West Virginia Motor Speedway (Mineral Wells, W. Va.) for the Historic 100 on Friday afternoon with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.
With 25 Late Models on hand, Pearson Jr. earned a spot in the $10,000 feature and was scored 16th at the checkers.
Hoping for better luck in Saturday's $50,000-to-win finale, EPJ finished eighth in his heat race before thunderstorms washed out the remainder of the evening's activities.
Earl currently sits 11th in LOLMDS point standings.
