Gresham competes with Crate Racin' USA at I-75 and Talladega
Mario Gresham continued his run with the Crate Racin' USA Series on Friday afternoon with a visit to I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tenn.).
With a stacked 38-car field on hand, Gresham qualified 10th-quickest in his group and earned a feature position with a third-place finish in his B-Main. With $5,000 on the line, Mario gained three position to finish 12th.
Making the trip to Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) on Saturday, Mario was caught up in a wreck in his heat race which forced him to a B-Main. After being unable to transfer through his B-Main, Gresham used a provisional starting spot in the $10,000-to-win main event and raced to a 16th-place finish.
