Chase Junghans Shows Speed With The World of Outlaws Late Models

NORFOLK, Neb. (June 29, 2023) Three nights with the World of Outlaws CASE Construction Equipment Late Models in Kansas and Nebraska this past weekend, Chase Junghans raced his way into each feature event at 81 Speedway and Off Road Speedway.
Racing in the opening A-Feature from fourth on Friday, June 23, Chase battled near the front of the field until having to retire on Lap 16 when the Shop Quik Convenience Stores No. 18 sailed through the cushion of the first and second turns and slammed the wall running third. The result was a 16th-place finish.
Back at 81-Speedway on Saturday, June 24, a fifth-place finish in his Heat Race forced a run through the Last Chance Showdown. Second to second in the 10-lap affair, Chase gridded the feature 19th. Picking his way forward, the Manhatten, Kan. shoe was up to ninth with one lap to go but would end up parked in the third and fourth turns, resulting in a 17th-place finish.
Off-Road Speedway on Sunday, June 25, Qualifying saw an 18th place time (14.411-seconds). Sixth in the third Heat Race, the feature ran the distance for Chase, with a five-position climb from 18th to 13th over 40 laps,
