Top-10 in Independence Shootout at Senoia with Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series
On Saturday afternoon, Cla Knight entered his M&W Transport No. 42 into Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series / Ultimate Super Late Model Series competition at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Ga.) for the co-sanctioned Independence Shootout.
With a stout 39-car field on hand, Cla missed the setup in qualifying but made up three spots in his heat race and was victorious in his B-Main. Rolling off from the ninth-row in the $10,000-to-win main event, Knight charged from the back to record a Top-10 finish in 10th.
Traveling to Duck River Raceway Park (Wheel, Tenn.) on Sunday, Knight earned the 16th-place starting spot in the $7,500-to-win feature and ended up 15th at the checkered flag.
