Michael King Jr. passes seven cars in feature at Pike County Speedway

With his original Fourth of July weekend plans at Super Bee Speedway (Chatham, La.) axed by Mother Nature, Michael King Jr. called an audible and headed to Pike County Speedway (Magnolia, Miss.) on Saturday afternoon to pilot his PPG Paints No. 14JR Late Model.

Competing in a stout field of 30 Late Models, King’s qualifying effort relegated him into a B-Main for another shot at $2,000-to-win A-Main. With a runner-up finish cementing his spot into the main event, Michael took the green in 20th and went onto improve seven spots in the 20-lap affair to finish 13th.
