Holcombe suffers Heartbreak at Golden Isles Speedway

Austin Holcombe returned the seat of his No. 8A UMP Modified on Saturday afternoon at Golden Isles Speedway (Brunswick, Ga.) for the Summer Speed Scorcher.

Drawing for his position out of 23 entries, Austin rolled off fifth in his heat race and recorded a fourth-place outing. With an eight-car invert for the 20-lap feature, Holcombe started from the front row and led the first 16-laps before giving up the lead with just four laps to go. Ty Norder crossed the checkered flag ahead of him while Todd Neiheiser, Austin Sanders, and Dillon Buhr completed the Top-5.
