Diercks races into victory lane at Cedar County Raceway

Returning to the Modified ranks on Wednesday, Spencer Diercks entered the TCE No. 21 Rage Chassis Modified into battle at Cedar County Raceway (Tipton, Iowa) for the Cedar County Fair Race.

Starting the feature in ninth after picking up a heat race win, Diercks soared into the lead by the 10th circuit and led the remainder of the 25-lapper to capture his third win of the season and a $1,500 payday. He finished 0.829 seconds ahead of Joel Rust with Mark Schulte, Patrick Flannagan, and Kyle Montgomery completing the top-five finishers.

On Saturday evening at 34 Raceway (West Burlington, Iowa), Spencer followed up a runner-up finish in his heat with a sixth-to-second run in the feature. He chased Travis Denning to the checkers with Charlie Mohr rounding out the podium.

The action-packed race week drew to a close for Diercks on Sunday with him capping off the weekend with a top-10 finish at Benton County Speedway (Vinton, Iowa.). Starting the main event in 12th, Spencer clawed forward two spots in the 25-lapper to finish 10th.
