Runner-up finish in Super Stock at Bloomington Speedway

Friday night found Derek Groomer in action at Bloomington Speedway (Bloomington, Ind.) pulling double duty in the Modified and Super Stock ranks.

Improving on his ninth-place finish in the Modified main event, Groomer took the green in fifth in the Super Stock feature and rolled to a runner-up showing. He trailed Matt Boknecht across the line with Greg Amick coming in third.

Saturday's scheduled Hoosier Dirt Classic at Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Ind.) fell victim to wet weather.
